At the end of February, the restoration work was completed on the last building of the “I Viali” Shopping Park in Nichelino (Turin), which will host the first “Bounce” centre in Italy. “Bounce”, an Australian concept launched in 2012, is a 3000 square meter adventure park with trampolines, airplane rides and padded as well as inflatable platforms.
The new structure, located on a 50,000 square meter area offering innovative activities for children and adults including amateurs and fitness enthusiasts, will be inaugurated on March 1st 2018.
This large space was built in the former covered riding stable in Nichelino, abandoned by Società Ippica Torinese (SIT), the Turin Horse-Race Company, and restored by Isolaarchitetti. The building, already mentioned in contemporary art texts, has not been demolished but incorporated into a broader building and urban redevelopment program in the strategic south Turin area, aiming to create a common gathering place to be enjoyed easily by the public and integrated intricately with the surrounding area and the historic Stupinigi buildings.
Milan Ingegneria oversaw all project engineering and managed the work and safety.
