First re-emerging in 1826 among the ruins of the Capitolium of Brescia, the Vittoria Alata, a bronze Roman era statue, will now come to light once again at the place where it was found almost two centuries ago, with spectacular modern staging conceived by the Spanish architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg.
The work will be positioned on a structure with high precision static-mechanical characteristics: a cylindrical pedestal in Botticino marble with an anti-seismic base measuring about 1.60 meters high.
Milan Ingegneria is involved in the restoration project of the statue and has conducted its structural analysis and seismic verification.
