On October 25, the new Shopping Park “I Viali” was inaugurated in Nichelino (Turin), near the Royal Stupinigi Hunting Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The new center is characterized by its connection to the surrounding greenery, thanks to its numerous well-equipped areas and bike paths linked to restaurant service, which is the starting point for excursions and guided tours to the famous Stupinigi Palace.
The Carrefour Property project is part of a greater Building and Urban Redevelopment Program in South Turin that aims to create a quality common area that is easily accessible to city dwellers and is intricately integrated into the surrounding area.
“I Viali” is one of the first ITACA Certified Italian Shopping Centers in Italy that provides for estimation of sustainability levels such as site quality, environmental loads, resource consumption, and environmental quality as well as overall level of service. The Carrefour Super Store has been awarded as the best selling point in the “Super Malls” category by SBChallenge (CommONEnergy), a research project funded by the European Union.
The “I Viali” Shopping Park project design is by Studio Isola Architetti, the interior is by MYGG Design studio. Milan Ingegneria oversaw all project engineering and managed the work and safety.
