Domus Open Air Museum, Palazzo della Triennale, Milan (Italy)

The XXI International Exhibition of the Triennale di Milano will be held from April 2 to September 12, 2016 under the theme “21st Century. Design After Design”, and will include a programme of events, installations and exhibitions which will be organised throughout the city.
On the occasion of the Exhibition and the 1000th issue of the Domus magazine, DOMUS promoted and curated the creation of “ARCH and ART”, a complex work of art inside the Parco della Triennale, in front of the Palazzo delle Arti.

The installation, also called “Open Air Museum”, is made up of 5 pavilions designed by 10 masters – architects and artists – who have collaborated to the project for the Metropolitan City of Milan: David Chipperfield and Michelangelo Pistoletto, Michele De Lucchi and Enzo Cucchi, Hans Kollhoff and Mimmo Paladino, Eduardo Souto De Moura and Jannis Kounellis, Francesco Venezia and Ettore Spalletti.
