Pavilions B2 and C1, Expo 2010, Shanghai (China)

Two former industrial buildings were transformed and a new one was built to create the pavilions B2 and C1 for the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, inside the Urban Best Practice Area (UBPA). Exhibition as well as connecting and outside areas are all part of a unique consistent space. Façades are covered with earthenware tiles, while roofs are covered with metal sheets.
