Spark Two Offices in Santa Giulia, Milan (Italy)
Santa Giulia is a residential and business district in the southeast of Milan designed by the architect Norman Foster. The work comprises a total of 1.200.000 sqm and represents the abandoned industrial areas of Montedison and Redaelli.
The Spark Two building encompasses 9 floors on a 3.700 sqm trapezoidal lot.
The ground floor, along with the entrance hall, hosts commercial and restaurant functions. The offices are planned with open spaces arranged around the central core. The façade is characterized by a texture of vertical elements: a sunscreen system controlling solar radiation and ensuring a proper level of light diffusion.
The project was conceived with parameters of efficiency and sustainability aiming to attain LEED PLATINUM recognition as an eco-sustainable building and WELL, Building Standard, GOLD in step with the international protocol certifying the well-being and comfort levels of work environments.
