TAD Offices in Lainate, Milan (Italy)

Constructed in the 1950s, the building had serious structural faults. The construction of an external load-bearing reticular structure was needed because of the pre-existing deformation of the steel pillars. Thanks to this supplementary structure supporting the loads of the building, it was possible to make it two floors higher thus transferring its weight to the new pillars and foundations.
