A dynamic exchange between architecture and nature

The Milanofiori residences are part of a larger development plan of the City of Assago, which calls for the construction of multifunctional building complexes, including offices, hotels, restaurants and cinemas.
The residential complex consists of 110 new residential units, placed within a building, which is developed around a large central green space. The apartments open up to the context through large terraces and winter gardens, which serve both as bioclimatic greenhouses, allowing for thermal regulation of the interior spaces, and further expansion of the living space when needed.

The residences of "Milanofiori 2000" cover 15,000 square meters and are designed by encouraging the exchange between living spaces and the surrounding environment. The glazed walls of the facades enclose "winter garden" loggias overlooking the park. The spaces have both aesthetic and thermoregulatory value, and there is a different mode of use between summer and winter, depending on different climatic conditions.
