Colle della Strega residential complex, Rome (Italy)
The construction of the Colle della Strega residential complex is part of the urban redevelopment project for the Laurentino district in Rome, on an overall area of 29,250 m2. The project will see the construction of five seven-storey buildings for a total of 423 flats with a gross floor area of 230,225 m2.
External landscaping, road access, the creation of cycle paths and car parks are all important elements of the project which focuses on redesigning green spaces, thus creating a “green system” along roads and residential areas. An ecological corridor of more than 10 ha will enable to recover a portion of land, now in a state of serious neglect, and transform it into a space for leisure within an environmental system.
The use of high-performance materials, advanced technological and system components and renewable sources of energy will contribute to energy saving and environmental comfort
