Ferrari Winery in Trento (Italy) – Milan Ingegneria

Ferrari Winery in Trento (Italy)

The Lunelli Group, a historic producer of Italian sparkling wines, has decided to build an innovative reception building where fans, customers, tourists and the curious can meet.

The project is part of the Lunelli family’s mission to cultivate Italian excellence and the link with the territory through the enhancement of their wine estates of Margon in Trentino, Podernovo in Tuscany and Castelbuono in Umbria. The values of the brand, the essence of production and the charm of the product. of Cantine Ferrari is designed to give people an emotional experience, enriching them from a cultural point of view.

The Trento plant, the heart of the production of Ferrari sparkling wine, was established in 1902 and is located in a nodal point of the freeway traffic of northern Italy, near the A22 Modena-Brennero, near the Trento Sud exit. Ferrari’s wineries, already an obligatory stop for Vinitaly’s fans, will be able to become an attractive pole for tourism in this sector.

The plant has a great advantage: it is visible from a highway on which millions of cars pass and the new project aims to enhance its visibility. A suspended dome will cover the spaces below: a work halfway between architecture and sculpture that will impose itself on the landscape becoming an integral part of the surrounding nature.

Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese Taoist geomantic art, auxiliary to architecture and akin to Western geomancy, will inspire the path by making visitors live an emotional experience.

The project will be developed using the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification system, which outlines guidelines for the development process and helps select the most appropriate systems and materials for the project.
