The Spark One and Spark Two buildings, developed over 8 floors for retail and offices, are located in a triangular lot facing Rogoredo station with a plaza open to the public and outdoor spaces laid out with greenery.
From a technological point of view, the structures of the two buildings were made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete with post-tensioned slabs to ensure the slenderness of the slabs.
The set-back volumes in the roof, made of metal carpentry, are used to house technology stations and photovoltaic power generation.
The facades feature a glass envelope with a cascade of changeably shaped sunshade blades capable of creating a dynamic shadow play. It is an automated system that controls solar radiation, ensuring the correct level of light diffusion. It adds up to the careful selection of materials, cutting-edge energy strategy devoted to the pursuit of maximum comfort of use of interior spaces.
The complex boasts LEED PLATINUM and WELL, Building Standard, GOLD certification.
