Designed to the south of the urban area, it is distinguished by its semicircular plan and the presence of green paths, an ideal bridge of reconnection between the city and the surrounding natural area.

The restyling of the Arechi Stadium involves a radical redevelopment of the sports facility built in Salerno between 1984 and 1990. The new facility will become a state-of-the-art stadium according to the best international standards of safety, quality and sustainability, featuring a new roof and a reconstructed lower ring in continuity with the upper one. A totally inclusive facility, without architectural and social barriers, combining passion for sports with sustainability, respect for the environment and love for the community.

A project to make the central space of the Colosseum usable by means of a new support plane placed at the same elevation as the ancient, Roman-era one. A solution of great formal simplicity, made possible by the careful study of the historical structure and designed to return to the monument a part of its original image, while protecting the underground structures. For a better preservation of the Flavian Amphitheater, respecting its deep architectural, archaeological, historical and social value.

The new Emergency Hospital is located in Entebbe, on the shores of Lake Victoria, about 35 km from the capital Kampala. Designed by architect. Renzo Piano with TAMassociati, it is a pediatric surgery hub of excellence-among the most important in Sub-Saharan Africa-that offers free care with advanced techniques and highly qualified staff. The load-bearing walls were built using excavated earth as the raw material, following the terra pisé construction tradition.

A unique and interdisciplinary museum designed to tell the story of Etruscan art in dialogue with modern and contemporary artists, such as Lucio Fontana, Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol.

The former Convent attached to the Church of San Paolino, founded in the 11th century, is located in the historic center of Florence, not far from Santa Maria Novella. A massive architectural renovation, overseen by GLA firm Genius Loci Architettura, has enabled the conversion of the complex into a new hotel with 171 rooms, restaurant, bar, meeting room and underground parking: a meticulous restoration process aimed at preserving the historical and cultural heritage of San Paolino, allowing it to be enjoyed safely by visitors and guests.

Moscow's oldest thermoelectric power plant, built by the Tsars in 1907 and decommissioned in the early 2000s, is transformed into a Museum of Contemporary Art, based on a project by Arch. Renzo Piano for the V.A.C. Foundation. The result is a new cultural and exhibition center, a gathering place open to the public and intended for artistic activities. An intervention that opted for the preservation of the original steel structures and the conversion of the iconic chimneys into sources for the building's ventilation.

The church dedicated to St. Pio of Pietralcina in San Giovanni Rotondo was commissioned by the Capuchin Friars Minor to architect. Renzo Piano in 1990. Starting with the shape of the Nautilus shell, arch. Piano had the intuition to use the local Apricena stone to create a double series of arches arranged in a halo, on which a wooden roof rests. A complex work made with an unusual combination of different materials, it is considered a milestone in the history of sacred architecture.

The Tbilisi Peace Bridge was strongly desired by then Georgian President Mikheil Saak'ashvili, who inaugurated it in 2010. It joins the two sides of the city at the very spot where caravans traveling along the Silk Road crossed the Mt'k'vari River. A monument with a strong symbolic value, it connects the historic core of the city to the new neighborhoods, which have grown to the east. Its roof, a synthesis of the dialogue between architecture and engineering, appears as a single transparent and luminous leaf-shaped membrane.

In the Bovisa gasometers park, in the northwest area of Milan, rises the new Politecnico campus signed by Arch. Renzo Piano. Twenty new buildings intended for classrooms, residences, conferences and startups: a new neighborhood, a hub of innovation, that stitches the former Goccia industrial area to the city. A project characterized by energy-efficient wooden structures that will flank the redeveloped and refunctionalized elements of industrial archaeology.
